Glen R. Cavallo, President and Chief Executive Officer
Glen has served in a number of capacities in home health and hospice including overseeing privately-owned, regional organizations as well as subsidiaries of national publicly-traded corporations since entering the industry in 1988.
Prior to taking the reins of LCA, Glen was hired in 2006 to start up SolAmor Hospice (a subsidiary of publicly-traded Sun Healthcare). In six years, the company grew to over 22 locations in 11 states. Prior to that, Glen was hired to lead Medshares, the nation's third largest privately held home care company out of bankruptcy. He and his leadership team successfully accomplished this significant task in July 2003. Glen also helped develop Beverly Enterprises' ancillary business lines as he led their Medicare-certified home care, hospice, infusion therapy, medical equipment and private duty companies.
Glen received his B.A. in sociology from Duquesne University in 1980 and is married to his college sweetheart and together they have three grown children and one grandchild.
Susan Sender, Chief Clinical Officer; Vice President Pediatric Operations
Susan is responsible for the clinical direction of Loving Care Agency which includes setting standards, strategic planning, compliance, regulatory affairs, training and development, acquisitions, and integration. Susan is a dynamic clinical leader with 25 years experience in the home care industry. Formerly the Chief Clinical Executive at Gentiva Health Services, Susan is a respected and influential healthcare authority and has been invited to participate in many external committees for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, The Joint Commission for Accreditation of Health Care Organizations, the National Quality Forum, Atlantic Philanthropies and the John A. Hartford Foundation, the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, and National Trade Associations.
Susan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Adelphi University.
Karen Dargo-Mullahey, Vice President of Human Resources
Karen joined Loving Care Agency in 2010 with 18 years experience in the home care industry. She most recently served as Vice President of Human Resources for All Metro Health Care, after having held numerous leadership roles in operations with the same organization. Karen has also spent many years active with the New York State Association for Health Care where she held officer positions and served on state and local boards.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management and Marketing from Syracuse University.
Phil Feldman, VP, Home Health Care - Adult
Phil is responsible for Operations and Business Development of our Adult Home and Community Services Division. His experience in healthcare was attained over nine years at Gentiva Health Services in leadership roles in Finance and Home Healthcare Operations. Prior to that, Phil held senior financial positions at several national companies.
Phil is a CPA, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Brooklyn College.
