Private Duty

At Loving Care and Links2Care, our clinical staff are touching lives and making a difference by providing highly skilled clinicians to deliver home-based care for our patients with varying levels of medical need. We do this by providing outstanding skilled clinical care and advocating for the families. We assist the families in finding solutions that support the family's goal of bringing their medically complex child home to familiar loving surroundings.

Private duty care may include services provided by multiple professional disciplines such as: Pediatric Nursing, Home Health Aides and Physical Therapists. These professionals provide services to ensure a smooth transition home for pediatric patients across a wide range of diagnoses including but not limited to:

  • Respiratory Syndromes and Dysfunctions
  • Gastrointestinal Disorders
  • Cardiovascular Anomalies
  • Hematologic and Immunologic Disorders
  • Endocrine Disorders (including insulin pumps)
  • Neuromuscular Disorders
  • Congenital Anomalies
  • Spinal Cord Injuries
  • Anoxic and Traumatic Brain Injuries

  • Premature Birth
  • Tracheotomies
  • Mechanical Ventilation
  • Feeding disorders (Cleft Lip/Palate, NGT/GT/JT)

Intermittent Visits

In addition to private duty and hourly services, we can also provide intermittent visits in some geographies. Intermittent visits can include one or more visits to the patient's home to evaluate care, provide teaching to the patient or family, or assess a patient.
